Ender 3 - BLTouch guide installation

With this guide you'll lose SD card support, but who cares? Just use a cable. I couldn't install my BLTouch on Ender 3 after watching tutorials on YouTube or searching forums online. I gathered all the information and errors I found and modified the firmware. This guide is for people using Petsfang with stock hotend and 5015 fan only. Before following this guide, download Arduino IDE from your computer: https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software And get this file modified by me: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1C0J3WZUy6wQzJF_XMRIUHiV6YeTQtaDD Unzip the folder and put it on your desktop. Here's how to do it: 1) First, you need to unlock the bootloader and upgrade the firmware: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWwtbmg_AxQ 2) Then follow this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoCvwPZUkBI Follow this video from 00:00 to 13:04. Note: Connect your Ender 3 and Computer with a cable before opening TH3D. When you open TH3D, go to Tools and do the following: 1) Select "Sanguino 1284p" 2) Select "ATmega1284p (16 MHz)" 3) Select "AVRISP mkll" 4) Select your port 3) Now upload to your Ender 3. Click on the right arrow at the top left and wait. When it's done, disconnect the cable from Ender 3 and PC. 4) Don't close Arduino on your PC! 5) Connect again with a cable and switch on your Ender 3. 6) Follow this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoCvwPZUkBI From minute 19:44 to 25:49. 7) Now close Arduino, disconnect your Ender 3 from PC but don't power off Ender 3. 8) Adjust the Z offset following this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5M7DvdMcew Try printing a cable clip STL file.
