Ender 3 BLTouch and ADXL345 Mount
thingiverse
I needed to add an ADXL345 accelerometer to my Ender 3 so I could do input shaping for Klipper. I modified my BLTouch mount to add in the ability to mount the accelerometer. I do not have a link to the original BLTouch mount that I used as I downloaded the stl almost 2 years ago and didn't save the link to my collections in Thingiverse. I apologize for this and if anyone can point me to the original designer of the BLTouch mount I would be happy to edit and add the link. To attach the accelerometer I use 3 mm tapping screws as I didn't want to bother with putting a nut below the accelerometer and intruding into the BLTouch. If you don't mind using a screw and a nut, you will need to make the hole just a touch bigger. When I want to do input shaping calibrations, I just connect a cable from the accelerometer to the raspberry pi. I printed this in PETG, but anything could be used. I also printed at 100% infill.
