Ender 3 belt alignment Y axis motor shim
thingiverse
I was having trouble with proper belt alignment for my Y Axis, which kept sliding to one side of the pulley and causing friction on the belt. I realized that the motor support into the frame wasn't perfectly aligned at a 90-degree angle, leading to the misalignment issue. To fix this, I added a shim between the motor support bracket and the 40x40 aluminum extrusion for the Y-axis base. This allowed me to compensate for the slight bend in the motor support and now my belt stays centered on the pulley at all times.
