I designed this spool holder for ender 3 as I was sick of the spool "lurching" on the one supplied with the printer. I designed it to fit bearings with the following dimensions - 30mm ID, 55mm OD, 13mm depth which i got from ebay for £3 each - shorturl.at/avISW You need to print the following; 1 x spindle 2 x nuts 2 x taper pieces The idea of this is that the taper pieces will fit most filament spools (they were designed to fit all the ones I have, which i presume are representative of general sizing). The only item i used support on was the spindle for the overhang and I used tree supports which worked well.
