Ender 3 Ball Bearing Filament Guide + Z-Axis Stabilizer

thingiverse

This is a fusion of the finest elements from things 3082437 and 3556252. By incorporating three 22mm x 8mm x 7mm bearings, you can both solidify your Z-axis and steer your filament with precision. I have re-designed the knob to minimize its use of filament and shorten it, as the original obstructed my spool's rotation. To assemble this combination, print two dowels, spacers, and rings, along with one of every other component. Attach the spacers to the twoball_module using the dowels (this will be a snug fit, so use pliers). Position the rings over the bearings for the filament guide and snap them all together. For further instructions, refer to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3082437. Note that you must insert the bearing sideways into the top of the Z-axis stabilizer and then twist it into place. This can be a challenging task, so using pliers or a screwdriver to push, pull, or twist will prove beneficial. For more detailed guidance, visit https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3082437. If your z-knob feels too loose, you may need to scale down its dimensions by one or two percent.
