Ender 3 / Aquila Raised Legs for Cooling Fans
thingiverse
I'd made a remix from Jigsawgirl's design before, but it required removing the original rubber feet. This version is plug-and-play... Just print and press-fit without any modifications to the printer. **What is this?** These are legs that will raise your 3D printer approximately 52mm higher than stock. They are designed to give you the clearance needed to install cooling mods (with fans). **How to use them?** I designed these so that they should fit right over the stock rubber feet. Usually, the left rear pad (near the PSU), does not have enough clearance to have the support wrap all the way around; so you'll see one of these only has 3 sides specifically to be able to fit around that rear leg. **What's with the weird holes?** The legs seemed to give me the perfect opportunity to create a space to keep the scrapper and cutter tools which I usually keep handy. Of course you're welcome to use them that way or ignore the design and mix and match whatever configuration you see fit. **Cooling Mods** There are a lot of these out there, but if you haven't picked one out, check out the ones I designed and currently use: Ender 3\Aquila PSU mod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4972200 Ender 3 Mainboard mod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4828473 Aquila Mainboard mod: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5031012
