Ender 3 all in one, universal rear electronics case
thingiverse
A sleek rear-mounted electronics case designed specifically for the Ender 3. Strategically positioned at the back, there's ample space to mount a Raspberry Pi, fan, buck converter and two relays on the left-hand side. On the right-hand side, either the standard board equipped with four TL smoothers or an MKS Gen L or SKR1.3 can be securely fastened. This innovative design boasts modularity, neatness, quiet operation and superior cable management compared to the factory design. Rear access is effortlessly achieved by simply tightening one bolt per side, eliminating the need to physically turn the printer on its side. Additionally, there's sufficient room for other stepper motor drivers with large heat sinks if an upgrade board is utilized. UPDATE: STEP files are now available online. Already, numerous remixes have been created based on this design. Furthermore, I've successfully run 14-hour prints using the Noctua 40x10mm fan without experiencing any stepper driver overheating or layer shifts.
