Thank you, Michael from Teaching Tech, for creating this innovative solution that relocates electronics to the back of the Ender 3 printer. This design is truly exceptional. Many users expressed concerns about heat and some remixers addressed these issues. The Original Lid Remix by LUIGITIME9 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3813999) was a significant inspiration for me. Personally, I felt that the original lid was too thin and the fans in other designs were not positioned close enough to the X/Y drivers. The included SKR/MKS Gen L (RIGHT) CASE design is not my work; it was designed by Carlthingiverse (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3822712). I remixed the top only, thickening it and relocating the dual fans to improve airflow. Parts required: 4 x M3x16mm bolts (or 8 if you prefer a more secure fit) 4 x M3 nuts Instructions: Thread the M3 bolts into the top from the bottom. To ensure stability and prevent electrical shorts, I used hot glue to hold them in place. Attach the right-hand side fan, nearest the Z screw, before installation. Secure the inner fan to the top after insertion using needle-nose pliers; a snug fit is sufficient, no over-tightening required.
