Ender 3
thingiverse
I'm sharing a post from the Ender 3 Facebook page here because I couldn't find the original source. If you're the creator of this content, please let me know so I can give you proper credit. The original description is as follows: To visualize scale, I've created a rough STL model of the printer. Simplify3D has pre-programmed files for some printers, but for others, you can add your own machine model. This helps when comparing printed objects to known sizes. You can set it temporarily by going to Tools -> Options under the machine tab. For permanent changes, check out this link: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php... I've set my build volume to 220-X, 220-Y, 250-Z on the G-Code tab and it's perfectly centered. The plate is slightly larger but that's the only issue I see. To get it to fit your screen easily, clear the machine file, import the STL as if you were going to print it, and then use the "Change Position" settings to center it how you like it. Use the "Change Scaling" settings if you want to make the bed line up with the workspace exactly. I prefer seeing a gap. Once you've got it how you like it, click File -> Export Models -> Export Binary STL and save over the original STL. When you select it as your machine, it should be all set. That's how I got it where it was in the first place.
With this file you will be able to print Ender 3 with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Ender 3.
