My printer currently has equipped an NF Crazy Plus, which is different from the regular NF Crazy in that there are screws for mounting it directly to the Ender 3 v2. Unfortunately, many ducts out there don't specify that their duct only works for the original NF Crazy, which doesn't have the Ender mounting holes. As of now, only like 3 or so different ones exist in Printables and Thingiverse, including Glitzville's version. I found Glitzville's duct really well done as rather than use the fan screw mount for attachment, it uses the 30mm screw holes on the hotend. However, the files were only available in .rsdoc, which is uh a format…I was able to find a way to export the .rsdoc file using a utility on Github that was able to unpack the resources and then cobble them up into a step file. I don't want to deal with that again so here I've provided STEP file versions of the duct. This should help with making modifications, though I really want to thank Glitzville for clarifying some design details of the duct. Here comes the modifications for this particular remix:I increased the thickness of the duct screw holes on the base by 2 mm. I noticed that this broke quite easily and I was using PETG. This also means you'll need some bigger screws for this.I changed the duct design so it blows air towards each other. Glitzville clarified on Thingiverse that the right duct curves due to wanting to fit the thermistor and heating cartridge wiring behind, but I didn't have issues with it. See the attached pictures on how I did the wiring. The BLTouch mount from the other model is usable I think but I designed my own that uses less material; feel free to use one or the other. However, mine fits the Ender 3 v2, so other models might not be able to use this. For my setup, I use a 4020 fan and a custom direct drive setup. The fan barely screws in with the diagonal but if you use a smaller fan this should not be an issue.Tips on installation:Screw in the ducts first → Install on hotend → Install fans. This will make installing this much easierFollow orientation instructions from Glitzville's model on printing these.Use PETG if you can to resist the high temperaturesOrganic supports will help print the ductsHave fun with this duct!
