Ender 3 5 CR10 Pro Z-Axis top screw support for sync pulleys
thingiverse
This part is designed for using top mounted pulleys and belt on the T8 Z-axis screw tops to sync your Z-Axis motors. I looked around online and there was no designs made that I liked, or actually worked, so I designed my own. it is similar in dimension to the stock Creality top blocks in size and offset. uses same stock screws. uses 608 ZZ or 2RS bearings. this does NOT require you to move or raise your stepper motors and you do not lose any work height! I have no idea why some folks are going through the hassle of raising their stepper motors with "blocks" and doing this upgrade the hard way, even to the point of losing work height- use these mounts and easily install pulleys and a sync belt, and retain the full stock workspace. .02 res, 10 to 15 gyroid infill, 3 or 4 walls, use something rigid like ASA, PETG, polycarbonate, nylon. the bearing cup is designed precisely - you will need to slightly clean out the bearing cup hole after print, then use a bench vise to press the 608 bearing into the cup. it should sit just a hair higher than flush I designed this for my CR10s Pro V2 but it should fit any machine that uses the same type of framing, and dual T8 screws. the photos show the part printed in GiantArm clear PETG at 240c with 75c bed, .06 nozzle with .03 layer and .06 width - direct drive extruder. clear PETG likes a hotter bed otherwise it will not stick. I use a textured PEI bed pulley belt: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089F7V4Q3 pulley: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085XLXV8N bearing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09PKD8QZZ
