The factory hot end housing that creality uses on several of their models is fine but the design doesn't really direct the air from the cooling fan to any particular place, it just kinda blows air all over everything. This causes air to blow down onto the part, over the heat block and doesn't focus air through the hot end radiator. These are minor issues for sure but become more of an issue if you try to move into more engineering grade materials that require higher heat and can be negatively effected by cooling coming from the hot end fan. This duct focuses the air from the fan away from the heat block and part and forces it to go through the radiator. This is the first iteration - you might need to add clearance for the screws that hold the hot end in. I lost the pan head screws and have socket cap screws where as my dad designed this duct to clear the factory screws. Print it in whatever filament you want - plain PLA is fine. One model is for pan head screws the other is for socket cap screws. Either way you might need to trim the area around the screws a bit, sheet metal isn't particularly accurate.
