Ender 3 40mm fan repair
thingiverse
After I broke my Ender's fan, I decided to look for a way to fix it without having to buy another one. I found this beautiful design from "kj6epl" and adapted it for the Ender 3 fan. I have no experience in 3D modeling, but I used Tinkercad to make the necessary adjustments and all the pieces fit perfectly, without needing to drill, sand or break anything. Be aware that you will probably break the fan by removing the center pin. Instructions: Remove the fan by pulling the back with pliers. Remove the small seal carefully holding the centerpiece. Remove the magnet by gently pulling on the edges. Fit the pin to the center hole (you need to use a little force). Remove the piece and place a small amount of super glue on the bottom of the central hole. Place the center pin again and wait for the glue to dry. Put the magnet back on. Place the crumb and seal carefully. Reassemble the fan. It worked perfectly, in addition to the fan being quieter than before.
