Remix of RODAM Spool Holder with increased length to fit bigger 2.5kg (5.5 lbs) spools. It should fit spools up to around 11cm (4.3 inches) wide. It uses standard 608 bearings (you can use ZZ/2Z type or the more expensive 2RS). !! make sure to remove any supports in the fillet section !! The holder itself you can print standing up, with the thread on top, you can slow the thread part down to around 20mm/s2 for best results. Use 3 walls for better strength and 15% infill is enough, use supports. The cylinder can be printed in vase mode (use thicker line) and slides over the holder. The 3x Dowel I suggest you print at around 98%-99% scale to fit your 608 bearing. The Spool Bolt, if you have problems fitting it onto the holder, try using some lubricant like WD40, it helped me.
