Ender 20mm Top Rail Utility Mount
thingiverse
A 20mm Ender top rail mount for all the assorted junk I had clamped up there. Provision for a Logitech webcam, a USB LED light, and a hanger for my extruder cabling. Comes in 4 parts: the actual rail clip, webcam holder, light holder, and cable hanger. Mix and match or add your own. Originally tried to print as a single part, but finally opted for separate parts and a little super glue. Also considered bolting it together like an Erector set, but super glue won that battle, too. Webcam is a standard old Logitech I had laying around. I didn't want to remove the mount on the back because I might need it as a webcam again. It just slides in. You might want to stretch the part to get more of a perspective angle on the printer bed. LED light is simply a circuit board with LEDs mounted on it (these came from Wish) that plugs into a USB type A female connector. Think USB extension cord. I just ran one from a wall wart to the printer, plugged in the light, and put it in the mount. After trying the ubiquitous cable chains everybody else is using, I switched back to simply hanging my extruder cable from the top rail. Seems to work great and I haven't found a downside yet. Used a piece of elastic cord (stolen from my wife's COVID mask) to hang the cable from the mount. I hope I've added enough pictures to make this self-explanatory.
