Ender 2 Right Side Fan Mount with Cable Support
thingiverse
I was originally using a fan mount by RaffoSan, but with the LCD mod installed, the fan would crash into it. Rather than try to move the LCD forward more, I decided to mod the original model by RebelRousingProps and have the fan on the right side, adding my own cable support. This design was modeled in Fusion 360, and I included the .f3d file if you want to remix this remix. You'll connect the part cooling fan to the "K-FAN" output on the board, which is controlled by your slicer fan settings. To complete this project, you'll need a 5015 fan. You can find it online at http://amzn.to/2HrPvAE. For mounting the 40mm heatsink fan, use this mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2350437. The LCD Mod is available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2457518. Getting the ziptie on can be a bit tricky, but once it's on, the cables are nice and secure.
