Ender 2 Filament Sensor

I printed the Thingiverse model 2513373 but found it too cramped for my Ender 2, so I remixed it with the Model 2490695 from Meshmixer. The switch I'm using is a standard https://goo.gl/qLgJQc type. I utilized the Filament Sensor Reloaded plugin on OctoPrint to monitor my filament usage. To automate the sensor readings, I wrote custom scripts for afterPrintPaused and beforePrintResumed events based on the instructions from http://docs.octoprint.org/en/master/features/gcode_scripts.html.
