Ender-2 CR-10 5015 Cooler
thingiverse
I wanted a 5015 blower part that didn't obstruct my view of the extrusion and provided easy access to both bowden connector and nozzle without needing to dismount it. This wasn't a typical requirement, so I created this design myself. It was specifically designed for the Ender-2 but should also fit on the CR-10. I ran it continuously for four days with no issues, achieving good part cooling and stringing control. The design is robust and weighs in at 37 grams (two shells, three top/bottom) printed at a thickness of 0.2 millimeters. It utilizes existing mounting bolts for carriage and a 40mm fan. A 20mm bolt and nut are required to secure the blower. There's also a slot for clamping hot-end wiring to the shroud using a zip tie. This design isn't particularly visually appealing, but it effectively prevents the air-paddle effect as it moves along the x-axis, and the entire cooler clears bed clips. To print this design, place it carriage-side down on the bed. I've included a gcode file with supports that are split inside the manifold for easier removal.
