Ender 2 3D Cooling Fan Duct - Lid

29/10/19 - Update and Warning: After some printing time, PLA parts are suffering due to excessive surrounding heat and becoming twisted and loose. I strongly advise against using PLA and recommend opting for PETG or ABS instead. An updated model with improved fit is on its way, but I'll wait until it's thoroughly tested before releasing it. This lid is designed specifically for Razer35's remix of the 3D Cooling Fan Duct, available at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2334407. I'm a huge fan of that mod and have successfully modified my fan to K-FAN in the board, giving me control over cooling performance. It's worked flawlessly with PLA for months. However, printing with PETG is a different story altogether. I'd tried lowering fan speed, but it resulted in nasty outcomes at those temperatures, and my poor PTFE tube suffered greatly. In desperation, I randomly tested clogging the 3D cooling mod with duct tape around the nozzle and, to my surprise, it instantly fixed printing issues. The result was fantastic prints, although the process was tedious and messy. Today, I've created this lid to offer a better solution for the best of both worlds. It's rough and ugly, but it fits well enough to stop most air from being directed at the nozzle. The small notch pointing forward helps visually confirm its placement. I'm working on preparing a .gcode file to raise the print head to a comfortable position, making it easy to put and remove the lid without much hassle.
