Designing a Silent Desktop Printer Requires Innovation: A 40mm Noctua Fan Adapter Solution To achieve a completely silent desktop printer situated within arm's reach for extended periods, I devised a part cooling fan adapter that accommodates a 40mm noctua fan. Finding a straightforward solution proved elusive, prompting me to create my own design. This custom fan duct securely fastens in place of the stock part cooling fan and even utilizes the original M2 bolts, although shortening the front two is necessary. The fan itself is firmly mounted using four M3 bolts.
