End Mill Box

End Mill Box

To store end-mils, a box was designed recently due to the need. This project allowed testing dual extrusion using MakerWare 2.0. However, for dual strusion, you must use the font from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:22730. The OpenSCAD is customizable based on end-mil size, rows, spacing, height, etc. For a lighter print, use two shells at 5% fill. Printing a 3x8 box takes nearly six hours for top and bottom separately. To generate the files, uncomment each three lines for every part at the end of the file. Specifically, type top(); box_top_label(); bottom(); You may wish to change the label from "Scanner's end mills". If dualstrusion isn't desired, comment out the 'use' statement and calls to 'labe()' in 'top()'. The font can be skipped by commenting out related lines. This project is maintained on github: https://github.com/scanner/end_mill_box.
