The end clip is a simple sliding lock, with the last jam threaded to make assembly easy. There is a quick release slot to remove the end cap and there is ample room to allow the tape to be folded into the grip during assembly. The top clip has a cable gap in it to allow the brake/gear cable to pass through, this will stop you having to cut the tape to allow the cable out and finish the product off nicely.
