A peculiar scenario unfolded when a friend decided to overhaul a Honda 300 4x4 by swapping its engine with one from a two-wheel drive model. The move necessitated removing the front drive shafts, but retaining the outboard shaft for the wheel's attachment point remained essential. Once this shaft was removed, however, a void existed where the CV joint had once resided, prompting the need for a solution. That's where I came in – to provide a fitting answer. This cap fits snugly over the outboard axle's end, securely clips into its groove, and features an open space for a zip strip to keep it firmly in place if needed.
