This is a replacement end cap for an LED light Aluminium strip. The strip is a 90 degree aluminum extrusion with a slot for 5050 LED strip lighting and the like. I wanted more room and an easier way to thread the RGB wiring through the end cap. So I reproduced a similar design and left one end open for threading the wires. It seems to hold in place, but I will use silicone to weather and bug seal it since I'm using the strips on my camp trailer.
