I previously constructed a 3D printer featuring 30mm Bosch rails and used the supplied end caps. However, I recently decided to create custom replacements for these components. The initial design was created using Solidworks, but encountered issues when processed by Slic3r. To resolve this, I utilized Netfabb Cloud Service (no affiliation) which fixed the problem after conversion to metric units. Finally, export the file in Slic3r and print it via Pronterface for a successful printing experience.
