Human: End Blade. XCB-105-3044. 400 BCE-100 CE\nXCB-105 Adamagan, a massive village with multiple occupations, sits atop Morzhovoi Bay on the western Alaska Peninsula. Named after the Aleut word for place of walrus hunters, it was the largest Arctic village in its time, housing approximately 1000 people from 400 BCE to 100 CE. Archaeological evidence suggests limited occupations dating back to 2200-1700 BCE, 1000-600 BCE, and 900-1100 CE.\nThe artifacts from the Western Alaska Peninsula were a direct result of research grants NSF 9630072, NSF 9814086, NSF 9996372, NSF 9996415, NSF 1139266, and NSF 1321411, led by Principal Investigator H. Maschner. Scans were taken with either Faro Edge Arm or Minolta Vivid 9i, processed in Geomagic or Polyworks, using 2-8 photos for texture in Geomagic Wrap. Original digitization took place at the IVL at Id. St. Univ., while subsequent processing and publication occurred at Global Digital Heritage.
