Human: End Blade. XCB-105-2926. 400 BCE-100 CE XCB-105 Adamagan, a massive village with multiple occupations, dominates Morzhovoi Bay on the western Alaska Peninsula. At its peak between 400 BCE and 100 CE, it was the largest Arctic village with an estimated population of 1,000 people. Other occupations are recorded at XCB-105 dating back to 2200-1700 BCE, 1000-600 BCE, and 900-1100 CE. Research grants from NSF supported this project, including NSF 9630072, NSF 9814086, NSF 9996372, NSF 9996415, NSF 1139266, and NSF 1321411. H. Maschner is the Principal Investigator behind these research grants. The artifacts were scanned using a Faro Edge Arm or a Minolta Vivid 9i, then processed in Geomagic or Polyworks software. Textures for Geomagic Wrap were created with 2-8 photos per model. Digitizing was initially completed at IVL in Id St Univ, while further processing and publication took place at Global Digital Heritage.
