Human: End Blade. XCB-105-1127. 400 BCE-100 CE\nXCB-105 Adamagan (Aleut for place of walrus hunters) tops Morzhovoi Bay, western Alaska Peninsula. It's a massive village with diverse occupations. When occupied from 400 BCE to 100 CE, it was the largest Arctic village, boasting an estimated 1,000 people. Archaeological evidence also indicates limited occupations dating back to 2,200-1,700 BCE, 1,000-600 BCE, and 900-1,100 CE.\nArtifacts from the Western Alaska Peninsula result from research funded by grants NSF 9630072, NSF 9814086, NSF 9996372, NSF 9996415, NSF 1139266, NSF 1321411. Principal Investigator H. Maschner led this research. These artifacts were scanned using a Faro Edge Arm or a Minolta Vivid 9i and processed in Geomagic or Polyworks. 2-8 photos per artifact provided texture in Geomagic Wrap. Original digitizing occurred at the IVL, Id. St. Univ., with subsequent processing and publication completed at Global Digital Heritage.
