Encoder Wheel with two rows of 48 slits

This encoder is precision-calibrated. Its design is based on OpenSCAD.\r\n\r\nTwo evenly spaced stripes border its edge, each boasting 48 precisely cut slits. To generate varying phase discrepancies when rotating in opposite directions, these strips are deliberately aligned asymmetrically. Furthermore, their open and close areas are unevenly proportioned. This strategic design element may enhance noise tolerance when utilizing optical or infrared LED/Diode pairs to detect transitions (1 and 0). When employing IR photo-diodes, ensure the LED's intensity does not overpower the sensor.\r\n\r\nThis optimized design is engineered to accurately measure both speed and direction. If you're only interested in gauging speed, either strip can be utilized.
