Enclosure v1.2, Atari-Compatible eclaire Mini
thingiverse
Atari 400/800-, XE- and XL-themed enclosures are available for the eclaire mini Atari-8-bit-compatible computer, remixed to fit the second run of circuit boards (July 2019, purple PCBs). If you own a blue circuit board from the first run, use the original v1.12 models instead: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3562690 The eclaireXL thread on AtariAge is here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/281810-atari-compatible-hardware-eclairexl-in-mini-form/page-1 A huge thanks to toddtmw on AtariAge for printing, testing, and posting photos to help finish these models. Unified models are included so you can visualize the assembled shells from different angles. Do not attempt to print them. A blank top cover is supplied, with another having an indentation for attaching a logo plate (requires supports when printing). You might need to trim the outer mounting tab of the SIO port to fit the board in the case. Some shortening and trimming of the standoffs and supports may be required. Ideally, file or carefully grind them down until the case fits and the ends still contact the board. Four M3 machine screws are needed. Screws for the center standoffs are optional. You may need to trim or remove some center standoffs to install expansion boards. No cartridge guide is included. Use foft's cartridge guide, available in post #114 and here: http://www.64kib.com/atarixlfpga_svn/trunk/atari_800xl/eclaireXL_ITX/hardware/case/mini/stl/Cartridge%20v8%20top_up.stl Two screws are needed to attach the guide to the standoffs beneath the circuit board. Changes in this v1.2 remix include moving the two standoffs under the cartridge slot 1mm inboard and inline with the cartridge slot, and adding a cutout to the standoff adjacent to the SD slot for added clearance.
