Atari 400/800-, XE- and XL-themed enclosures for the eclaire mini Atari-8-bit-compatible computer, first run, blue circuit boards. If you own a purple circuit board from the second run (July 2019), use the v1.2 remix here instead: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3779401 eclaireXL thread on AtariAge: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/281810-atari-compatible-hardware-eclairexl-in-mini-form/page-1 These models were created from measurements of foft's enclosure and a rough model of the board. I have not personally verified that they fit the circuit board. A huge thanks to Gandor for printing, testing, and posting photos to help me finish these models. The unified models are included so that you can visualize the assembled shells from different angles. Do not attempt to print them. A blank top cover is supplied, and the other has an indentation for affixing a logo plate (requires supports when printing). You might need to trim the outer mounting tab of the SIO port to fit the board in the case. Some shortening and trimming of the standoffs and supports might be required. Ideally, file or carefully grind them down until case fits and the ends still contact the board. Requires 4x M3 machine screws. Screws are optional for the center standoffs. You may need to trim or remove some of the center standoffs to install expansion boards. No cartridge guide is included. You can use foft's cartridge guide which is available in post #114 and here: http://www.64kib.com/atarixlfpga_svn/trunk/atari_800xl/eclaireXL_ITX/hardware/case/mini/stl/Cartridge%20v8%20top_up.stl You will need two screws to affix the guide to the standoffs beneath the circuit board. UPDATED 5/8/2019 - v1.12 Increased height of power switch opening. The XE case now has bottom vents. The 800 case has been updated with top and bottom vents. UPDATED 5/3/2019 - Revised v1.11 XE-styled case with reduced radius edges and thicker vent ribs UPDATED 4/30/2019 - The v1.1 revised models are now available, and an XE-themed case added. Changes include: - Slightly smaller 142x182mm footprint - Smaller joystick port and PBI port openings - Enlarged openings on the rear to accomodate plugs and added port supports - Deeper cartridge well and thinner center standoffs - XL case has more-consistent vent pattern and partial cutout for SIO mounting tab UPDATED 4/15/2019: Added a 400/800-style case to round out the collection.
