Enclosure Soft Close Magnetic Door Handle with Mijia Thermometer Holder

<p>I designed this handle for my Ikea Plataa enclosure but it should be able to be used on most enclosures so long as there is a minimum 3mm gap between the door and the frame.</p><p>The handle can be customised to show the name of the printer. It holds an inexpensive temperature/Humidity monitor. The catch works surprisingly well and can catch the door even when it is swung freely swung closed.</p><h5>Additional Parts:</h5><ul><li>2x 8mm x 3mm magnets - Same as you would use for a stepper visualiser</li><li>1x Xiaomi Mijia Temperature Humidity Monitor 2</li><li>1x Chip/particle board screw with 8mm panhead</li><li>1x 2mm wide zip tie</li></ul><h5>Print instructions:</h5><ul><li>Handle - Print standing on end, magnet holder end on the bed</li><li>Wedge - Print flat side down</li><li>Catch - Print Front face down</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><h5>Handle</h5><p>The handle slides onto the top of the acrylic door. The temperate monitor slides into the holder from the top and the magnet goes into the slot followed by the wedge to help keep it in place</p><h5>Catch</h5><p>Fix the screw into the side of the enclosure using the catch to measure the correct depth. Check magnet polarity is correct then place into the catch. Press catch onto the screw, the screw head will secure the magnet in place. Secure with a cable tie.</p><p>Move the handle so the magnets are approx 1mm apart in the closed position and you're done!</p>
