Enclosure parts and 45 degree spool holder
thingiverse
This file comprises assembling components for any size enclosure. All that's needed are perspex or similar sheets. Drill holes in sheets as necessary and utilize parts in this file to join sheets together using M4 or similar bolts and washers. I constructed an enclosure measuring 600mm x 600mm x 500mm for my Prusa i3 Mk2. For enclosures of this size, the spool holder cannot be positioned atop the printer. Consequently, the included spool holder at a 45-degree angle to the hotend must be utilized. The attached enclosure channel fits on top of the printer frame and supports the enclosure while also guiding the filament. If employing the enclosure to maintain a constant temperature, utilize middle corner components instead of bottom corner parts for bottom corners. The bottom corner parts will leave a gap around the perimeter. Inside components are optional and not essential for constructing an enclosure with perspex. This information is intended to be useful to others. Enjoy! If you print the components and build an enclosure, please post pictures. I would love to see what people have created.
