I used a M25 pipe, but I scaled it down to fit my own pipe size requirements. To ensure the parts stay rigid, use plenty of infill material. You can seal the sides with foam or a double layer of cling foil - whatever materials you happen to have on hand. The lid is held together with packaging foam that's been taped in place.
