This is an engineered laser cut hood with bespoke printed components for a highly customizable Makerbot replicator 2 build platform, designed specifically to boost overall print quality, particularly during the harsh winter months, and minimize the number of filament jams occurring. The removable top panel provides unhindered access to the extruder when changing out filaments. A simple process that is sure to come in handy time and time again. \n\n Assembly Guide Use the included .dxf file to precision cut the panels with your laser cutter. This custom-designed enclosure accommodates 4.5mm thick panels seamlessly. Attempting to use thicker material will result in a snug fit of 3D printed parts only, hence any add-on engravings will have to be strategically planned. For added durability and cohesion, special acrylic glue is highly recommended to weld the side and front panels into place.
