The Ultimaker 2 enclosure features a magnetic side door for easy material changes, and front and back doors for simple access during regular use. It's designed to accommodate multiple fan mounts for versatile installations, ensuring safe indoor printing of ABS or other materials with externally ducted ventilation. The interior dimensions are 357x498.5x640mm. The enclosure is made from clear 3mm acrylic laser-cut on all sides and includes 3D printed duct mounts and magnet mounts in ABS or PLA. It's constructed using six lengths of OpenBeam extrusions, each cut to 4 x 357mm and 2 halved, assuming a 3mm kerf on the saw. Two hinges and two door handles are also required. Additionally, sixteen 16mm diameter x 2.5mm magnets, a 92mm fan, a fan guard, a 100mm flexible duct from the hardware store, eight rubber feet, and two cable grommets complete the enclosure assembly.
