Enclosure for the Norcal BLT Tuner (and others)
thingiverse
Bill, WB9BBC, encountered issues with the original STL file I provided due to problems likely stemming from flawed geometric operations. He rectified this problem and supplied a revised STL, which is now available as blt-tuner-enclosure-repaired-WB9BBC.stl. Although I haven't yet tested it myself, I highly recommend utilizing his version for printing. This snap-in enclosure is specifically designed to accommodate the Norcal Balanced Line Tuner (BLT), the BLT Plus, and other derivatives, in addition to Z-Match tuners or Fuchs matchboxes, and any matching device used with antennas in Ham Radio. For detailed schematics of these antenna tuners, refer to: http://www.qrpkits.com/blt_plus.html http://www.norcalqrp.org/norcal_blt.htm http://www.n5ese.com/blt.htm The enclosure features holes for the following components: 2 x BNC connectors 2 x Banana Plugs 1 Toggle Switch (usually situated at the rear side of the enclosure to switch between symmetrical and asymmetrical antennas, as this doesn't need adjustment during most tuning procedures) 2 Slide Switches (one typically used for tune vs. operate and one for high Z vs. low Z) 1 5 mm indicator LED 2 variable capacitors Enjoy printing, and I look forward to meeting you on the air! 73s, Martin, DK3IT Print Settings: Printer: Sharebot NG Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.3 mm Infill: 15% rectilinear How I Designed This: Viacad 2D/3D This was my initial exercise in 3D design and printing, which I'm now applying to other projects.
