Enclosure for Raspberry Pi 4 NAS RAID with Double SSD
cults3d
This is an enclosure for a Raspberry Pi 4 with 2 SSD drives. There is enough room in the box for hooking up the drives with 2 USB to SATA adapters. I used these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F7WDZGT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and they fit in there fine. Also, the hardware used are either #2, #3 or #4 machine or wood screws. The #2's screw in the Pi and the rest I don't remember but it isn't rocket science to figure it out. Some might be worried about cooling without a fan. I run mine strictly as a file server and have had no problems whatsoever with excessive heat from the Pi. The ventilation seems to be more than adequate. Please note that there are three pieces in the STL file. You will have to break them apart in your slicer. The box should be printed laying on its enclosed (pi) end. The lid should be printed laying on the smaller flat surface. The hatch for the ethernet cable should be printed laying on its largest flat surface. This will give you proper dimensional accuracy. It worked for me. Good luck and happy printing!
