Enclosure for Raspberry Pi 4 NAS RAID with Double SSD

thingiverse

This is a custom enclosure designed specifically for a Raspberry Pi 4 with two SSD drives installed. Two USB to SATA adapters are included, which can be easily connected inside the box using Amazon's B07F7WDZGT product. The enclosure requires either #2, #3, or #4 machine or wood screws for assembly; #2 screws fit directly into the Pi while others require some basic problem-solving skills. Some users may be concerned about heat dissipation without a fan installed. However, this enclosure is designed to run solely as a file server, and in my experience, it has not experienced any issues with excessive heat from the Raspberry Pi. The ventilation system appears to be more than adequate for its intended purpose. Please note that the STL file includes three separate pieces, which must be separated using your slicer software before printing. To achieve accurate dimensions, print the box on its enclosed end (Pi-side up), the lid on the smaller flat surface, and the ethernet cable hatch on its largest flat surface. This setup worked successfully for me. Good luck with your 3D printing project!
