Enclosure for IR-Lock Landing System Sensors
thingiverse
This enclosure is crafted to securely hold a Pixy camera (CMUCAM5) and a Lidar-Lite V3, both essential components in the IR-Lock precision landing system. A grid of evenly spaced holes at the bottom of the enclosure allows for flexible mounting options on a drone frame, initially designed to fit the mounting slots on a DJI F450's bottom PCB. M3 screws are used throughout the enclosure. The bottom part features a series of 2.5mm diameter holes that can be drilled and tapped directly using M3 screws for secure fastening. In contrast, the top part boasts larger 3.1mm diameter holes drilled out to serve as through-holes for M3 screws, providing a snug fit. A deliberate clearance of 0.25mm exists between the top and bottom parts of the enclosure, ensuring that pieces printed on our printer fit loosely but securely within it.
