Enclosure for environment measurement module.
thingiverse
This is an enclosure to house a small ESP32 or ESP8266 module and a sensor module to monitor some aspect of the environment, allowing free flow of air through the case. My application was for a temperature and humidity monitor for a greenhouse. Full details of the project are at https://cicciocb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=231 The enclosure includes a removable mount to which a small battery (I used a 900mAh li-ion from a mobile phone) can be attached. Sending a data bundle every 10 minutes and sleeping in between, battery life between recharges is around 3 months. I have also published a small enclosure for a BME280 which I am using as a remote sensor outside the greenhouse. this is at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4857502. The software for this is written in Annex RDS which is BASIC for ESP32 and ESP8266. Much more accessible than C++ for anyone looking to get into IOT programming. The language natively supports many common devices and support from the creator and forum is excellent. Follow my project link for more details.
