enclosure designs for CR-10
thingiverse
I'm posting my plans for the CR-10 enclosure. I expanded the width so it's easier to change filament and access the extruder. However, I kept the minimum dimensions as well. I reused a spool holder from the CR-10 and attached it to the frame. You'll need: Aluminum tube 30 mm x 30 or 1/4" x 1 1/4 Foam sealing tape (26' is too short for larger cabinets; two orders are required) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07477J8KL/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Hinge hardware from www.cshardware.com: 54.25.02 - hinges, 4 pairs 54.27.02 - slip on catches, 4 pieces 58.22.08 - strong double magnetic latches, 4 pieces Desk hole cover: https://www.amazon.com/Organizer-Computer-Entertainment-Workstation-Tabletop/dp/B075P4H7F2/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1511366349&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=cable+hole+cover+for+desk&psc=1 Plywood top and bottom, 1/2" thick: 28 5/16 x 25 11/16, 2 pieces 1/4" Acrylic Sheet (measure final openings in your sides and subtract 10 mms from all directions to leave a gap of 5 mms around) Self-tapping screws for aluminum; wood screws for wood-to-wood connections.
