I Constructed This Enclosure to Safeguard Against Fire, Extreme Cold Temperatures, Dust, and Other Environmental Hazards. It's Based on an IKEA BROR Black Shelving Metal Unit Measuring 85x55x190 Cm with Four Shelves Made of Pine Plywood. To Enhance Its Functionality, I Added the Following Components: Three Gyplat Boards: One at the Back and Two on the Right Side. One Thin Polystyrene Mirror with a Thickness of 2mm on the Right Side. Two Mirrors from IKEA Installed in the Back. One Clear Polystyrene Sheet with a Thickness of 3mm for the Front Door and Left Panel. A Support System at the Top for Filament Storage, Accompanied by a Fire Detector. Car Insulation Material with a Thickness of 5mm for the Bottom and 10mm for the Top of the Cage (Awaiting Shipment). Pieces of EPDM Roof Used as Vibration-Reducing Spacers or 3D Printer Supports. The Front Doors Are Equally Sized, with a 90-Degree Opening Mechanism. The Left Side Doors Feature a Divided Design to Accommodate Filament Passage Through the 3D Printer, with a 120-Degree Opening Angle (Note: The STL File Displays a 135-Degree Opening). You Will Need to Drill Holes of Various Diameters (2.3, 10, and 20mm) in the Wood. A Dremel Will Also Be Required to Cut Specific Portions of the Polystyrene Clear for Precise Hinge Placement. You Can Choose Between Two Options: A Simple 3D Printer Support Design or an Anti-Vibration Model. Check the STL Files Titled "3DPrinter_Support" and "3DPrinter_Anti_Vibration" for More Information. During Construction, I Encountered Several Issues: Depending on the Weight of the Components, You May Need to Select Between Two Hinge Panel Options: PinBase or PinBaseV2. I Utilized PinBase for the Front Doors and PinBaseV2 for the Side Panels. This Was the Most Challenging Part of the Assembly Process (Requiring Adjustments and Leveling). The 20mm Hole Is Used for Passing Power Cables to the Supply Unit via the "Power_Cable_Hole" STL File. I Recommend Avoiding Glue Application on This Component, as the Issue Relates to the Bed Connector's Excessive Size. If Not Glued, You Can Apply Gentle Pressure to Ensure Proper Functionality. On March 3rd, 2020, I Added Knob Magnets for Enhanced Operation.
