Enclosed Carbon Fiber Mecanum Chassis

Four Gobilda mecanum wheels are driven by 435 rpm motors using 15mm timing belts. The robot's structure is entirely composed of custom molded carbon fiber, with kevlar ribbons composited onto the rims to increase durability and prevent fraying. All necessary electronic components are incorporated into the "lid" of the design, and rubber grommets allow wires to be carried out of the enclosed case. Velcro straps hold the lid and battery pack in place, and all axles are stabilized at both ends.
