This 2-way bass reflex speaker cabinet is built with MDF, flexible plywood and solid wood (ash or oak). The enclosure is designed to house a SEAS W18E001-8 woofer, which is tuned with a large port for minimal air turbulence. The base can be filled with sand to stabilize the foundation. Acoustic insulation is added behind the subwoofer to reduce reverberation within the enclosure. Rounded edges minimize edge diffraction. Note that phase alignment of drivers is not considered!
