This case replaces the stock Enacfire case, allowing for a larger battery to be installed. Designed specifically for an 18650, it offers a significant upgrade over the original case's 500mah battery, which typically lasts only about a day. The new battery, however, can last anywhere from one to two weeks. ## Disassembly Removing the stock case is straightforward - simply use a thin pry tool to separate the bottom. With its simple adhesive attachment, the process is effortless. Next, secure the new battery within the case using glue to prevent rattling and then attach it to the earbud tray with additional glue. For added stability, hot glue proved effective. ## Voltage Monitoring Some cases come equipped with small holes allowing for multimeter probes to be inserted at the ends of the 18650. This feature provides reassurance for those concerned about voltage levels initially. The original battery's integrated BPS (battery protection circuit) is not present in the 18650, but the Enacfire earbuds effectively regulate voltage, stopping at 4.22v. As a result, the need for additional protection may be unnecessary. By accessing this design, you acknowledge full responsibility and accept that it is provided without any warranty of any kind.
