eNABLE - Garrett's Modified Arm

We modified the parameterized Alfie arm from eNABLE to suit our specific needs, as the original version remained slightly too large. In addition, the PLA thermoforming wasn't adequately accommodating for this particular residual limb. We then designed a custom fitting socket at the UTA FabLab, which included a forearm, tricep/bicep cuff, and a tensioning system that utilized bowden tubing to achieve optimal grip on the project. The palm was printed using NinjaFlex to provide improved compression and texture.
