Yes, I'm familiar with EMT straps, but I didn't have any on hand and since I already had EMT conduit, there was no need for a trip to the hardware store... at least not yet. This design can be fine-tuned on the Z-axis for an even tighter fit or enhanced with a strip of tape; as it turned out, mine came together perfectly. __UPDATED__ 11/2/2019 Redesigned for added strength, this "beefcake edition" is now more robust than ever.
