EMT Monitor Stand
thingiverse
I needed a monitor stand and managed to create something decent out of it. The only frustrating part was dealing with the plugs for the bolts - they had to be drilled so I could put in a bolt, cut off, and filed flat so the foot wouldn't get stuck on them. Glue didn't work, unfortunately. The wood is from an old staircase step, pine initially, but I have another one that's oak. I stained it dark to make it less like pine. Also found out that Clear Coat works better than Poly for surface protection - who knew? I came up with a few foot designs, feel free to pick your favorite! All the hardware is metric, 2mm for feet, and avoid using long screws on the base as the step isn't very thick.
