Do you have more than one fishing rod at home? Have you ever struggled to unwind over 300 yards of line, only to create a massive mess? Let's simplify things and make life easier. I designed this device to fit perfectly on a Harbor Freight bench grinder (Item #43533), which features a potentiometer that lets you control the speed when unwinding the line. The spool can hold approximately 600-800 yards, depending on the type of braid, mono or test line used. *20% infill is recommended for optimal performance. I constructed this device using PLA material. To enhance control and resistance, I added a wooden wheel on the opposite side. Alternatively, you can use the buffing wheel and a small piece of leather if needed. Don't forget to dispose of used fishing line responsibly; many outdoor stores have recycling bins available. By doing so, we can help preserve our oceans and ensure that fish remain for us to enjoy later!
